Correlation function of quasars from SDSS DR3

Parameters of the two-point correlation function (CF) of quasars w(r) = (rc/r)γ were found with the use of the SDSS DR3 quasar catalogue. For this purpose we firstly determined projected CF using the special technique of the random catalog construction. Then the parameters of the real-space CF were derived under the assumption of the local isotropy. For the quasars with red shifts of 0.8...2.1 we obtained the values of index γ = 1.76±0.14 and rc = 6.60±0.85 h-1Mpc for comoving distances within the range of 2...30 Mpc together with γ = 1.90±0.11 and rc = 6.95±0.57, h-1 Mpc for 2...50 Mpc. These results agree with the values obtained for redshift interval 0.4
