Анотація: 

Одержано взаємоузгоджені апроксимаційні формули, які описують залежність «час горіння водню — маса зір нульового віку» для інтервалів мас і елементного складу зір, які утворилися протягом усього часу життя Всесвіту. На основі відомих статистичних зв’язків між зоряними характеристиками, що узгоджуються зі спостережними даними, оцінено значення максимальних мас зір населення І.
