Abstract:

We study the possibility to overcome a limitation on the effective application of techniques of Fourier-component phase accumulation. An instrument with a composite aperture is proposed to be used for observations. It is shown that in this case the limitation increases as many times as the subaperture’s size is less than the typical size for atmosphere inhomogeneities. Some results of the application of the total phase accumulation technique for the processing of an interferogram sequence obtained with a multi-beam interferometer are demonstrated using a computer simulation.
