Abstract: The process of the heliospheric modulation of galactic cosmic ray intensity is investigated on the basis of transport equation solution. The spatial-energetic distributions of cosmic rays in the present epoch and in the past are analyzed. It is shown that the particle density and the cosmic ray energy density in the Solar system were considerably reduced in the remote past. The cosmic ray intensity modulation in the early heliosphere appeared especially vigorous for the low energy particles. |
