Abstract:

Planetary dynamics of secular Earth shape changes are studied based on the approximation of the physical Earth surface by biaxial ellipsoid. The secular changes of Earth-shape parameters were revealed from the analysis of following data: modern GNSS measurements on permanent stations in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres and paleoreconstructions model for continental and ocean surfaces.

Keywords: Earth shape, GNSS measurements, secular changes
