Gravitational dragging of distant source images caused by galaxy stars

Аннотация: It is shown that gravitational field of moving stars induces a small systematic image motion of extragalactic objects in the galactic plane (of the order of 0.1 μas/yr in maximum). The effect depends essentially on either the mass is located in compact objects or the mass distribution is continuous. |
